As founding principal, Jim O’Neill set out in 1997 to create a firm that would distinguish itself in three ways. First, it would offer the design creativity of a very large organization—but without the bulk. Second, the new firm would elevate client service and include clients as vital members of the project team. Third, Jim would be actively involved in every project day in, day out. Jim believes in collaboration and the power of strategic alliances. This allows Inventure Design to work with some of the best architecture firms in the country. To keep Inventure Design on the leading edge of the profession, Jim focuses on the power of technology and dedicates firm resources to encourage team development through this technology.
Jim, a Licensed Architect in three states, is a graduate of both Harvard University and the University of Notre Dame. He is also a member of the AIA and Rice Design Alliance.
