Maxine Mesinger Multiple Sclerosis Clinic
An existing pediatric clinic supplied the shell for this dynamic remodeling effort. Exam rooms were expanded and new way-finding features were added. The lobby is an uplifting welcome point and an empowering departure point. Specialty glass maximizes natural light, dissolving the barrier between outside and inside while protecting the patients' privacy. The design team balanced the medical space planning of a diverse special needs program and created a sanctuary for the patients.
