Children's Hospital of Orange County
CHOC Tower II added 144 beds to the facility and gave CHOC a physical and operational identity. The design incorporated new capabilities that were showcased in a clean and contemporary interior concept. Way finding was a major element, with travel and navigation guides woven seamlessly into the interiors. The use of abstract natural references grounds CHOC in the context of their origins while reaching across a multi-language, multi-cultural range of clients.
